Ellett & Gaynor, LLC is based in Amarillo, Texas and works closely with clients in other states. Most of our staff is expected to travel and may be at a remote job site for a few days at a time.

We have an excellent team of Engineers, Engineer Techs, Techs, CAD operators and Administrative Assistants that work together to produce the highest quality documents and drawings. They all have several years of experience in the Electrical field.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with senior engineers to design electrical systems for utilities and commercial projects.

  2. Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

  3. Conduct feasibility studies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for energy-related projects.

  4. Work closely with cross-discipline teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

  5. Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 0-3 years of experience.

  2. Strong academic background with a focus on power systems, renewable energy, or related coursework.

  3. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electrical engineering is a plus.

  4. Proficiency in relevant engineering tools.

  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and implementation of electrical systems for utility-scale and commercial projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications.

  2. Oversee project teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster professional development.

  3. Conduct thorough feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses to inform decision-making throughout project lifecycles.

  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project plans, addressing challenges and optimizing performance.

  5. Stay at the forefront of technological advancements and industry trends, incorporating innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and competitiveness.
Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with more than 5 years experience.

  2. Extensive experience in the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems for utility and commercial projects.

  3. In-depth knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.

  4. Proficiency in using advanced engineering software and tools.

  5. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize specialized software to perform staking for transmission and distribution line projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.

  2. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design drawings and stakeout requirements for electrical infrastructure projects.

  3. Conduct on-site assessments to verify the feasibility of proposed staking plans, making adjustments as needed to optimize system performance.

  4. Maintain accurate records of staking activities, ensuring documentation aligns with project requirements and regulatory standards.

  5. Provide support during construction phases, addressing staking-related challenges and coordinating with field personnel for seamless project execution.
Qualifications:

  1. Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering Technology).

  2. Experience with staking software and tools for transmission and distribution line projects.

  3. Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and regulations related to electrical infrastructure.

  4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  5. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with experienced engineers to contribute to the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including site development, grading, drainage, and infrastructure layout.

  2. Assist in conducting site assessments, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments to support project decision-making.

  3. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil engineering components into comprehensive project plans.

  4. Prepare design drawings, specifications, and construction documents under the guidance of senior engineers.

  5. Support construction activities by providing on-site assistance, addressing challenges, and ensuring adherence to project specifications.
Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 0-3 years of experience.

  2. Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.

  3. Familiarity with relevant engineering software and tools.

  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  5. Effective communication and collaboration skills for teamwork and professional growth.
